The aim of Clarence Valley Native Plants website is to promote biodiversity in the Clarence Valley by encouraging gardeners, developers and landowners to explore, plan and plant gardens that include native species indigenous to the region. Together, we can make a difference – one plant at a time.
We’re kick-starting the website with over 450 plants native to the Clarence Valley bioregion. This area covers a diverse range of landscapes including hinterland and ranges, coastal lowland and foothills and coastal landscapes.
This website is interactive. Feedback from users is welcome and encouraged. We acknowledge naming conventions of plants can and will change. For any suggestions, errors or omissions, please use this contact form.
We acknowledge the Bundjalung, Gumbaynggirr and Yaegl people as the Traditional Owners of the land on which the native plants featured on this website come from. We honour the First Nations peoples culture and connection to land, sea and community. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
